How free bet returns work

UK free bets usually do not return the free stake. A winning bet pays the amount multiplied by the decimal odds minus one. If the stake is returned, the payout is the amount multiplied by the decimal odds. Profit here is the cash received from a free stake; a cash bet’s profit deducts your own stake.

A £10 free bet at 3/1, stake not returned, returns £30
